Starting in Los Angeles in early 2009, I travelled throughout the teams of Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States & Canada. Speaking to their players, coaches, fans and established journalists who cover the game in the USA, I am now writing a book about my journey. 

I visited all 14 MLS teams during my trip: Los Angeles Galaxy, Chivas USA, San Jose Earthquakes, Seattle Sounders, Real Salt Lake, Colorado Rapids, Houston Dynamo, FC Dallas, Kansas City Wizards, Chicago Fire, Columbus Crew, DC United, Red Bull New York and New England Revolution.

I also visited the Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps, both of whom will be joining Major League Soccer in 2011.

I hope to complete the book in early 2010.
